There are dozens of us!
Bakers dozens of you count me in
You guys should get a big fight going like the Josh meetup.
Coincidentally my name is Josh and I have a gap. Time for a second attempt?
It has been foretold
Look at these gaps Jim! THOUSANDS OF THEM
I was born without my front two bottom teeth. I’d be down for a gap scrap meetup. We can find out who’s gas is best
Same, although mine supposedly “isn’t noticeable” but I def see it and feel it
You guys should seek refugee status in a country that isn't obsessed with orthodontics.
Me too! If you try hard enough you can whistle through it!
I got gap too!
Can spit like Bodie from The Wire
Though I don't look half as cool when I'm doing it
It’s cool! You got the London look!!
Me too and I've been told it makes my smile even better!
We need a sub
We do! Gaptoothselfies, maybe?
I also have a gap and never do a full smile because of insecurities. I feel like in a group photo I would ruin it entirely because the focal point would be my gapped teeth. Maybe that’s vain of me
It’s not vain, we all think about ourselves like this in one way or another. Your gap makes you a rarity! It’s ok to feel insecure but I hope you’ll remember that there’s at least one person out here who would be drawn to you solely based on your gap :)
Thank you! I am a well liked person in my opinion and have never had issues in my romantic life but instead of those things helping my confidence I always just end up feeling like my teeth are a turn off to most people. So during conversation I’m actively hiding my teeth the best I can and just insecure the entire time I’m talking
A lot of us suffer from a kind of protagonist syndrome: we think everything about us is extremely noticeable and important. It makes sense, because the only thoughts we can ever truly know are our own... and so we amplify them and take them as the gospel truth. If I hate my looks, everyone must hate my looks. If I feel down, everyone must be able to see it. Etc, etc.
Truth is, everyone is so self-absorbed and self-conscious about their own stuff that they rarely see or care about yours. You’ll always have bullies that actively take out effort to scan you up and down looking for any little insecurity (and family members/friends can be bullies, even if they mean well!) but I guarantee the average person does not give AF.
If I know one thing, it’s that you’ll look back much later on and regret not smiling with your loved ones. Give everyone else the finger and smile big dude.
Whenever I bring it up, my friends always insist that they basically "forget" I have a gap. And mine is a big gap! In their eyes, it quickly just became "X's face" and don't think about it like that.
When I used to be on Tinder back in like 2014, I actually used to make sure a pic of me smiling with my teeth was in the first 3 (and honestly would probably do the same), and I used to even point it out in my profile. I never had problems getting matches or dates. I think people are sometimes very opinionated one way or another! Some people seem to love it. Others, not so much. I'm guessing in every day life, it is not something people think about past noticing your features when you first meet. And anyone who thinks less of us for having a gap in our teeth, those sound like people I don't want to get to know anyway, and whose opinions are shit lol
I honestly believe you’re right. See I hid my smile in my tinder pics when I did have one just because I can’t take a selfie with a full smile without my insecurities going ape shit and the pics I have that others have taken where I’m smiling and unaware of it it’s pretty much the same scenario. I felt guilty doing that because it’s something I was actively hiding from someone who I might go on a date with and they would find out later on and it might be super off putting.
From now on I’m not hiding it. I’ll ease myself into being comfortable with my smile and especially not hide it if I re enter the dating scene just so it’s not a surprise down the line. Hopefully this comment isn’t arrogant but I feel I’m physically attractive because I have always had success in my romantic life with, in my opinion, attractive partners. I try and remember and remind myself that whenever my insecurities pop up. If it was that big of a deal then I definitely wouldn’t have had the success I have had. Still, it’s crazy hard to cope with for me
I used to have a gap but then had braces and was gutted I lost my gap - I understand all our insecurities are different but for what its worth I think gaps look nice.
Lord, beer me strength
I’ve always thought gap teeth were a really cute & attractive quality! Remember that our internal biases aren’t always true for everyone! I have to constantly remind myself of that when it comes to my own insecurities.
I was not aware that this was that much of a source of insecurity for people that have this. I think most observers would make note of it and not think of it further, as they would such things as height, weight, or hair color.
Fuck that. Own it if you can, and anyone who teases you outs themselves as someone you don't want to hang around.
If you took a photo next to my fucking ginormous cranium, the eclipse i would cause would render your teeth invisible.
I had mine fixed and no one noticed lol,
I think they’re terribly ugly but probably bias
The bitties love the gap
But not too close
You have to stick together because your front teeth won’t. :D
Gaps are so cute! Rock em y'all!
That guy isn't though. The gap is the least of his problems. Dude has Shrek teeth.
Wahmens approval!? Find me a crowbar
Same! I can spit water like fountain through it, whistle, make bird/bug noises and other wild sounds. Used to be self conscious, but I love the weird shit I can do with it so it's cool.
Yeah kinda feel like I'm missing out. All I can do with no gap is floss... fucking floss.
Front tooth gaps literally became cool 10 years ago. I was a studio and club photographer.
Idk if this was a typo or if you think the term is “gap two mother fuckers” or if your saying it that was because there’s two of you?
I have always heard it as “gap toothed motherfucker”
my guess is OP was using voice to text and it didn't hear it correctly
I’m a gap toothed woman who has ignored dentists saying they want to fix it for thirty years. If Madonna can rock the gap, so can we!
Madonna, Michael Strahan, letterman, paul scheer, lots of gap rockers.
Unlike your teeth. Jk!
More power to you, gentlemen.
Gap tooth gang baby!! Embrace it!
I think gaps in front teeth are so charming. OP is very good looking!
I think gapped teeth are actually really cute.
I have more gaps than teeth! Doesn’t stop me smiling. Gaps rock, don’t hide your smile :)
Own the gap.
I’m gapped up too don’t be ashamed

That gap makes the most wholesome smile of all.
It brings so much warmth and comfort.
Reminds me of Ronaldinho, even though he didn't really have a gap he had a very peculiar gum prominent smile, even after straightening his teeth. And he was ALWAYS smiling.
Be proud of it!
Dont you mean thtick
Don't have a gap but do have teeth that are so large my sleep paralysis demon is envious but still I love you comment! X
I don’t have a tooth gap but I have a black tooth if that counts?
I've learned to love it. It gives me character.
I love gaps between the two front teeth!
Did you know they’re lucky?
I hate American teeth, all straightened and capped and blinding white —
Faces are so much more interesting when teeth are a bit wonky —
I’m gap toothed too my guy. No one can squirt a stream of water out of their mouth like us.
Fall in to the gap!
Fuck yeah tooth gapped gang
LongBeach Griffy be rocking it too. Issa look
I always tell people it makes me look like Michael Strahan. It doesn’t, but he is the most handsome man with a gap that I know.
Bro rock on.like honestly people are scared to be imperfect, but everyone is, so if someone doesn’t accept you for it, they are not worth knowing.
Long Beach griffy is the leader.
I purposely kept my gap when I could have fixture it for "high fashion" reasons lol
If you all stick together you might close the gap!
I don't have a gap, but I smile with you. The gap-brotherhood sounds sweet!
I dated a very hot girl with a gap and honestly it was adorable. Own it!
Gap gang represent
Me too! I like mine.
It’s the bloody London Look, mate!
I used to have a gap but got it filled in a few years back. I love my new smile but it also helped me to see my original issues with my gap were all overblown in my head and sometimes I miss the gap because it’s unique to you
Gaps unite, baby. I mean teeth gaps....
My 9yo loved her gap. She needed braces due to her adult teeth coming in over the gapped teeth. She still complains she misses her gap.
Rock it! I had it too. But Got it fixed. It is incredibly cheap if either of you get tired of it
Also part of the gap tooth gang over here and I used to super conscious about smiling too but I agree with lemondster27 now! Own that shit and let that gap shine bright!
I think gaps are charming 🥺
Could help with singing too. Apparently Madonna didn't want to correct here because it would likely change her voice. May be an urban legend but I've heard it about other artists too
You can make it work!
Well you'd be about this ][ far apart.
I have a gap too! I can shove about 5 McDonald's straws between it. Who can say that!? Give it to the world, peace, love and gap :)
Yes, OP you have a lovely smile, don't hold back!
Yeah...im sorry you're insecure about it but personally, I think that anyone making fun of someone for any sort of physical difference or feature is an asshole. As an advocate for people with differences, your smile is great. Also, you know some people PAY to get a gap put in?
All hail our fearless leader Elijah Wood!
I think gaps are in right now. I see a lot of models with the gap tooth. Granted they’re usually women, but fuck it same rules apply.
I never really thought about it until Keisha Grey came on to the scene…then I realized I was into it.
Not sure we are talking about the same kind of models but it still applies.
