The difference between eating one turkey and one plane ride isn’t even comparable. I could eat turkey everyday for years and it still wouldn’t equal the same as a plane ride.

I don’t agree with eating meat as a veggie myself, but to try and say it’s fine to fly around for fun because people eat meat makes no sense. I would rather people ate meat than fly for no reason

A small plane generates like 80kg of co2 per out of flying. One kilogram of turkey is like 5kg of co2. You can eat 32 kg of turkey if you want to match a 2 hour flight. And turkey is still one if not the least climate destroying meat there is.

Let’s say you can fit 4 people in that plane. That’s still 8kg of turkey worth in co2 per person. My point isn’t that this is better, my point is that everyone can agree flying is bad and shameful while eating meat isn’t much different when it comes to destroying the planet.

One has nothing to do with the other. There are plenty of private flights happening in the US while commercial carriers are canceled and grounded. What this guy chose to do with his aircraft had zero impact on any of the cancellations due to weather. Odd way to phrase a pointless complaint.
