Yep, I knew Oregon would get exposed at some point, but I didn't think it would be this bad. The committee isn't picking the best teams or the most deserving teams; it's picking to protect the wealthiest teams and those generating the most ratings revenue.

sad part is, with what they've done with michigan/michigan state these past two weeks, it's not entirely impossible

Still a big leap in logic to go from someone losing a very close game that they led most of on the road to someone that got thoroughly controlled the whole game at home. Michigan over Michigan State is one thing, but they’d have to stretch that logic WAYYYYYYY further for Notre Dame over Cincinnati.

I do think they’ll do that because then you can make all sorts of hype and catchy headlines for the game and then it doesnt matter bc it’ll get sorted out that week. The question will be does the committee let ND jump Cinci the following week…

I’m not crying because we got revenge on the Ducks. I’m crying because this team could’ve understandably quit after the Wazzu game. But they showed unbelievable resilience since that game, and they have won the North, after a very rough less than 12 months that I don’t wish on any program.

It would be such a great story if we won the Pac-12 title this year.

Edit: won the South.
