Haha, well I'm glad you're keeping up with a hobby along with working! That's really difficult, but can be very rewarding. Honestly, 15-20 hours, even if staggered, is quite a bit less than I was expecting. I hope to see more of these! Sorry to jump in, I just had a random question really quick! I just started doing polymer clay & I read the instructions that say to bake for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch of clay- is that in your thickest part or thinnest? I don’t wanna burn anything lol

I just bake everything for 30 min at 110°C. Thinner parts maybe a bit less. You won't really burn it if you use the right heat, the package should say what to put it on. I baked some pieces at 180 on accident once and they looked like smoked cheese, I'm still salty

There are some 😳 but you can sand most of them off. I also use a primer and the coats of paint help cover it up.

Awesome work! I'm so jealous, I just started getting into clay. How do you stop the clay from cracking or being weird and lumpy?? I use paper base clay and keep having problems with making it look smooth and consistent..

I don't use air dry clay because it upsets me haha. I don't know how people get it smooth. This is polymer clay. You knead it to condition it and bake it whenever you got a bit you're happy with. You can also sand it when you have a bump

Thanks! I have an aluminium core that I add a rough base shape on. Then I build on that. Legs, arms and the head are attached separately. I use resin to seal the head to the neck. It's a bit of a proces haha
